Collecting samples

Choosing the right sample
Fresh poo: warm, pliable and shiny with flies buzzing around
Avoid old poo: dry, hard with a dull appearance

- During handling
- Run sheep into a corner of the field to stand for 5 minutes
Wear gloves | Take a sub-sample, about the size of a 50p coin | Collect 10-15 samples into individual bags |
Storing samples
- Remove air from bags to avoid worm eggs developing
- Post/deliver samples ASAP (keep in the fridge if you need to store)
